What is Knitting?
One of the fundamental knitting stitches is
the knit stitch, which is also the fundamental stitch that most new knitters
learn first. This entails placing the needle in the left needle's front stitch
and drawing the yarn through and out of the stitch.
You must carry out this procedure for each
stitch on the needle in order to knit a row of stitches. The end result is a
material having a smooth surface on one side and a textured surface on the
other made of a sequence of interlocking loops.
